Stockroom by Inventory

The guys over at Inventory have recently opened their own retail space in Vancouver. I came across these shots over at 189 and im sure there will be more to follow. I think the retail space fronts their creative space in the back where the guys put together the magazine and blog.

I got a chance to chat to them a little in NY a few months back and Im really looking forward to what they do in the retail space. I think we are now beginning to see the retail format of the last few years change, thankfully.

It's coming back to an expert in his/her store. The store has a concept and ethos alongside what is select and curated product. I took a stroll around Dublin City yesterday and not once was I approached in a store, not even a 'hello'. Service is so important and yet, the largest 'most successful' retailers do not focus on it. Amazing.

Keep an eye here over the next month for an exciting development which I hope you all like. Im also drawing up a changed brandlist for 2011. Let's see what happens there too.
