What happens when a store reflects an owners personality ?

I have 2 views on January. Its when shops clear stuff in sale and its a great time to plan the year ahead.

We don't have much gone into sale and every year I want that figure to be closer to zero. We don't sell shit so we don't sell at shitty prices. I hate the idea of an item being worth half its value because a week has gone by. The seasons are a mess - Its snowing and im selling jumpers and jackets for half nothing...No, its wrong and I simply will not conform and participate - hence not being open that much.

The second point to taking time out is reflection and planning. What did I learn? What did that customer say? You see I do listen to everyone and before I go buying for this time next year - I want to offer you better each year.

So the point is - Im not sitting at home eating selection boxes and watching box sets. Right now in fact im in the store about to go to the bank and post office.
