New York last week, Dublin and jetlag this week. Where did I like ?...

New York, New York
It was the first time in about 3 years iv been there, which is way too long ! I know NY quite well but was able to delve deeper over the week and visit places that have opened in those 3 years or that I had not visited previous.
I really liked Tribeca and the Meatpacking district but my favourite was East Village I think. The two places I made purchases in were Odin (Common Projects boots & Engineered Garments vest) and Freemans.

The thing about Freemans was that you could spend alot of time there, even though its quite a small space. I had eaten in the restaurant the night before which was amazing. The Eden Brook Trout and mashed Potatoe with truffle oil works wonders !
The clothing in-store is all own label as far as I saw, but the tailoring is fantastic. I could have bought trousers, jacket, shirt, coat...no problem
Next time im back, which will be very soon, im hitting the Barber shop in the back. I was always intrigued by this place through on-line blogs etc and now having being there, it ranks in my top 5 easily. Keep an eye for Hand(i)Book entries this week.
